Designer names of world-wide fame such as Philippe Starck, Ron Arad, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, Antonio Citterio, Patrick Jouin, Ferruccio Laviani, Piero Lissoni, Patricia Urquiola, Tokujin Yoshioka, Alberto Meda, Mario Bellini and Front collaborate with Kartell. This creative team has developed a special feeling with Kartell through dialogue and the continuous exchange of ideas on design and has succeeded in establishing a perfect balance between the design experience of the individual designers and the potential and needs of the company.
Over the years Kartell has earned an enviable series of prestigious international accolades including nine Compasso d’Oro awards. In 2000 the Kartell Museum, keeper of the brand’s history, was recognized as the “best corporate museum” by the Guggenheim Museum.
In the last ten years an ambitious expansion plan has strengthened the distribution network and the brand image all over the world. Today Kartell has 120 flagship stores and 180 shops-in-shop and is present in 96 countries.
