In September the 20th edition of the official Stockholm Design Week will return with an exciting schedule engaging both professionals and design enthusiasts. Spread out in the city centre industry insiders as well as the public are invited to attend design events, exhibitions, open studios and talks.
Amongst the highlights is an exhibition at the Stockholm Design Week hub, highlighting contemporary tendencies in the industry, as well as a number of creative studios and private residencies opening their doors to the public. Visitors can enjoy a guided tour of the beautiful artist studio of Pia Wallén and get a show around in the studio of Fredrik Paulsen. Many brands take the opportunity to show the combined launches they’ve made during the last two years of the pandemic, when it’s been hard to reach out, and there is a strong focus on sustainable change and discussion.
STOCKHOLM DESIGN WEEK HUB:
The Stockholm Design Week hub is based in the city centre of Stockholm, and features a collaboration between Stockholm Design Week and a Swedish design studio.
Our editorial press program covers a wide range of exclusive events in the city centre of Stockholm tailor made to suit 25 invited international journalists. We visit exhibitions, creative studios, events and talks. We also pre launch the new content for Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair 2023.
STOCKHOLM DESIGN WEEK APP:
Everyone signed in to participate at Stockholm Design Week will be listed in the new interactive Stockholm Design Week-app. It lists exhibitions, showrooms and events taking place in the city, to make sure exhibitors reach their target audience. Participants also get a spot in our digital press room Vocast, where we collect all press releases and related material.
For three days only, a number of creative studios, buildings and private residencies open their doors to the public. There will be talks, guided tours and show arounds for everyone to book. The Open Space-program is a collaboration with The New Era Magazine.
