Gallery Sebastian Schildt presents the artist Ann Wolff and the exhibition Traps and Transit, which includes eleven monumental glass sculptures. Ann Wolff is one of the most influential artists of our time who developed and brought glass as material to new artistic levels. The exhibitions main piece, the staircase, is a metaphor for life, which can be interpreted in different ways. It leads up and down, nowhere and anywhere, it has no banister and cannot be walked on. The semi-transparent designs, which fills the room also contains thoughts of male and female and symbolizes a transit, transience and time.
The exhibition runs between 21 August - 14 September 2019 and is part of Summer Design Weeks program.
No RSVP needed to attend. Open for all.
