Design News

During Summer Design Week, August 19-25, several designers and brands presented new products and collections. We've collected some great design news that you will find in stores this fall. Some of the highlights are ceramics from Low Key Goods, handmade glasses from You & Yang and Wooden mobiles by designer Stina Löfgren. 

 

Low Key Goods

Low Key Goods, Grandpa´s own interior brand, and Paradisverkstaden presented their new collaboration, which has resulted in a beautiful series of ceramics. The collection has a modern design language but with a touch of the 60's. There are thirteen parts, the cups are a favorite.

The Heart Lamp

An installation with the Heart Lamp by the design duo Färg & Blanche in collaboration with digital artist Johanna Tano was presented in an exhibition at Nordiska Galleriet. The lamp has already been launched but the fine installation is a reminder of how nice this lamp would be in the autumn dark.

You & Yang

You & Yang presented a new series of handmade glasses designed by Jon Eliason. The designs and products are inspired by Chinese product tradition and handicraft in combination with Scandinavian ”simplexity”. East meets West, West meets East.

Wooden mobiles

Three wooden mobiles, called Stoff, by designer and illustrator Stina Löfgren were presented at JR Work Shop. It´s a small version of an original in aluminium made for Nationalmuseum. There is a limited versions of these decorative wooden mobiles.
