At Formex January 14-17, 2020

The largest and most important platform for Nordic design, Formex, will focus on a return to the origin - the love of design. "We want to rekindle the love that can arise when you see the beauty in objects," says Operative Event Manager Kajsa Falck Torlegård. During four intense days focus will also be on personal meetings, the latest trends and tomorrow's trade.

The future of commerce

The French creative trend agency Carlin curates the exhibition in the entrance hall. In the Retail hub objects, people, concepts and ideas meet. One insight Carlin wants to share is that the shop environment should be a pleasurable experience.

Popular theme days

Formex continues with the popular theme days for industry-related issues. On Tuesday, there will be several lectures on trade with the theme of maximized customer meetings in the new retail world. On Wednesday, the focus is on the importance of sustainability. The latest trends and colors are presented on Thursday during the popular trend day. On the last day of the fair, the theme is branding.

New design

Meet tomorrow's designers in the area Upcoming in hall B. Here you will find Design Talents with 19 selected designers and their products. Many of today's great design stars have started their careers here so keep your eyes open for promising talents.

Celebrating 60 years

In 2020, Formex will mark 60 years as the most important meeting place in the Nordic countries for design and interior design. This is celebrated in January in the form of a historic style trip - 60 years of table settings. Stylist Cecilia Tivar will, in Hall A, create a unique exhibition with porcelain that shows the typical style of each decade.

Bloody Awesome

Kueen salute your period! The collection "Bloody Awesome" with scarf and kimonos, is about breaking taboos, shattering period shame and paying homage to everything it means to be a woman. The stand also shows the jewelry brand Statements by Lann with everything from a small men's cup in silver to a tampon topped with red stones. Look at the toilets, which will be period-secured by Kuuen during the fair.

Unique guest exhibition

Maraboparken Konsthall and Klippan launch in a joint stand two plaques by textile designer Wanja Djanaieff. The stand also shows images of Wanja's designs and designs - a small sneak peek of the Art Gallery's upcoming exhibition this summer. Klippan also celebrates 140 years as a wool factory and plaid manufacturer. Don't miss all this in booth B: 14 21.

LabKitchen is back

The success of August, the fair's new concept LabKitchen is back. There you have the opportunity to see different exhibitors and invited star chefs in the kitchen area. You also have the opportunity to try everything from kitchen utensils to chocolate truffles.

A taste of France

Be sure to rest your feet while savoring delicacies in Formex's new French bistro in Hall C. Sit down at round tables and checkered tablecloths. Munch on a croissant, sample French wines or enjoy a delicious lobster soup. Also take the opportunity to play a game of boules.

A new brand in Sweden

The unique wall decorations from Umasqu, manufactured in a design studio in Tel Aviv of various types of laser cut wood, are made by the designer Tzachi Nevo Tzachi. He wanted to create a world of known shapes and images and with recognition from different types of design. Take a closer look in stand A05: 10.
