Highlights during Summer Design Week

It's time for Summer Design Week! In August 19-25, we celebrate a world of design. We have gathered some of the highlights, so start to plan your week!

Together with Formex, the leading Nordic interior design arena, Summer Design Week promote design. The city of Stockholm will be buzzing with design events, openings, seminars, dinner parties and cocktails. Summer Design Week is a great meeting place for us who love design. Most of the events are open to the public. To some of the happenings you need to pre-register. Check out the Event Calendar to find out more.

Design breakfast

Start your day with a delicious breakfast below the vault at Nationalmuseum while designer Carina Seth Andersson and curator Helena Kåberg talks about the design process of the set table and the restaurant's new interior design.

Design your own furniture

At Furniture Lab you are the designer. Design your own sustainable furniture with parts of furniture. The most innovative yet contemporary designer wins all parts included in the design.

British fashion icon Zandra Rhodes is in Stockholm with a colorful exhibition at Stockholms Auktionsverk, where she will auction her artwork, posters and several exclusively selected garments.
