Summer Design Week

Let's celebrate a world of design!

In late August, it is time for Summer Design Week and the city of Stockholm will be buzzing of excitement. Together with Formex we present the most important week of the summer for design.

Summer Design Week, August 19-25th, includes events and pop-ups, many of them in Södermalm. As well as curated exhibitions in unexpected places, interesting collaborations, designer talks and seminars, celebrations and launches of new collections. But also, of course, great parties giving you opportunities to mingle. One of the big happenings of the week is the prize ceremony for The Nova Design Award. The annual Nova Design prize was founded by Formex, the leading Nordic Interior and Design arena, in 2011 to promote Nordic design and art. Another highlight of the week is textile designer Zandra Rhodes and her exhibition at Stockholms Auktionsverk.

Summer Design Week is the same time as Formex, that attracts around 20 000 visitors and 700 exhibitors each year. Therefore, Formex and Summer Design Week, are the best meeting place for us who love design.

So from one design lover to another. We look forward to a week of great art, craft, music, mingle and design. Join the celebrations!
